Perkins McGuire, affectionately referred to as Perk: Before departing on our round-the-world trip, I wanted you to know that Pat and I are both pleased to learn that you are progressing rapidly since your recent hospitalization and that you are now back at your desk on a part-time basis. Typed just two days after the Apollo 11 Moon landing on White House letterhead, the letter is in very fine condition.
