Folded. First letter has slight browning to the lower margin and a tiny ink smudge to London in the heading. ; Two handwritten letters. First signed William H. Rideing, one page, approx. 5" wide by 8". On printed letterhead The North American Review, 3 East Fourteenth Street, New York, but with handwritten London, England and dated 21.8.94. To an unidentified recipient "I shall be most happy to write my name in your book when it reaches me." [and] second signed simply W. , one page, approx. 5 1/2" wide by 8 3/8". On printed letterhead Editorial Rooms, The Youth's Companion, Boston, Mass. Dated 14.5.97. To "Dear David . Here is another batch of the ill-fated infernal Russell matter.". Seller Inventory # 344077
