One page, 9.75 x 6.5, on plain paper, from the Cass Theatre in Detroit, dated December 5, 1950, folds, minor wear else nice, with original mailing envelope (toned, lightly soiled). Lunt writes his friend "Joe" (Joseph Heidt, Theatre Guild press agent): "Thanks so much for sending on the photograph and the Ormsbee clippings. We are very grateful to you. Haven't we had a hell of a tour, what with Esther's concussion, Lynn's (wife Lynn Fontanne) broken arm and the Pittsburgh snows? Now we are looking forward to reaching Cincinnati and New Orleans in the height of the flood season." SIGNED "ALFRED" BY ALFRED LUNT.
