Add to basket8 1/2 x 11 inch paper, The Research Institute of America, Inc. letterhead. Some chipping and soiling, letter is clearly readable. Dated February 17, 1943. This letter is written to Malcolm Johnson (1902-1958), an executive vice president at book editor at Doubleday, Doran & Co. and then D. Van Nostrand Co., Inc. from 1937-1944. Irving Stone (1903-1989) was an author, best known for his biographical novels of famous people. In this letter, he congratulates Mr. Johnson on the birth of his son. It is simply signed "Irving".
