Typed Letter Signed from Ray Bradbury to Rust Hills, Fiction Editor of Esquire Magazine, 1960 Letter measures 10 x 7 1/4 inches, on cream stock with embossed gilt globe motif to upper left corner. Numerous small holes to upper left corner. Previously folded. Verso blank. Good Condition. TLS from science-fiction/fantasy author Ray Bradbury to Rust "Rusty" Hills, fiction editor of Esquire Magazine. Bradbury is requesting tear-sheets or back issue copies of the March 1954 issue of Esquire which featured Bradbury's "Interval in Sunlight" story. "I was in Europe when that particular issue came out, so never got around to putting in a supply, as I do with most of my stories." Rust Hills served as fiction editor at Esquire from 1957-1964. Bradbury concludes his note by stating, ".my congratulations to you and the entire staff of ESQUIRE from some of the unusual and handsome things you've been experimenting with during the past year. I hope that you are getting the sort of attention you deserve for your imaginative steps in new directions.". Seller Inventory # 2261
