Add to basketSingle leaf. A satiric personal letter written by author Vance Bourjaily (b. 1922 - d. 2010) on stationary. Bourjaily was born in Cleveland, Ohio and served with The American Field Service (1942-1944), and the U. S. Army (1944-1946), and graduated from Bowdoin College in 1947. He was a teacher and writer; his works include: 'The End of My Life' (1947), 'Confessions of a Spent Youth' (1960), 'The Unnatural Enemy: Essays on Hunting' (1963). Typescript letter on stationary and signed in the hand of Vance Bourjaily with two bird illustrations in his hand also on the upper left and bottom of the letter in black ink, in near fine condition; folded for mailing.
