Hardcover; no DJ. Black cloth over boards with gold lettering on spine and front cover. Covers slightly rubbed; spine toned. Minor rubbing at crown and foot of spine. Binding clean and tight. Deckled edges. Title page dated 1939. Copyright page dated 1939. Stated number 236 of the first edition. 486 pages. Black and white plates throughout. Tissue guard present after frontispiece. Pages uniformly toned but clean. Signed by W. H. T. Squires on title page in black ink. A very nice copy. Please email with questions or to request photos. Regular shipping by USPS Media Mail is $4. MEDIA MAIL SHIPPING DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACKING.
