A beautiful original painting in rich colours depicting a bear striding through a field. Another bears head pokes up over a hill just behind the first. In the background a lush mountain scene is visible. John Thomas Young Gilroy (30 May 1898 ?11 April 1985) was an English artist and illustrator, best known for his advertising posters for Guinness, the Irish stout.
