(1992), xviii, 227pp. Wrps. Signed by the author. The author was born in 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio. When he was eighteen months old, his father died, and his mother returned home to Bourbon County, Kentucky, with the three children. He worked as a reporter for WHAS Radio and Television in Louisville, and as a newsman for CBS News for fourteen years, retiring in 1985. This book is a sort of autobiography, recounting his day to day activities living at Plum Lick, on land purchased by his ancestor in the 1790's, interspersed with some of his experiences as a newsman.
