Vivekananda: Lessons in Classical Yoga

Other than inscription by the author- this is a tight and unmarked copy-" This book contains selections from the most important and inspired teachings on Classical Yoga ever offered. They were written or given in lectures throughout the 1890s by Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902), a young Indian monk who came to America in 1893 to speak at the world's first Parliament of Religions in Chicago. With his glorious message of Oneness and universality, he became the uncontested star of the Parliament, single-handedly raising India to the level of a spiritual teacher in the eyes and the hearts of the West. Vivekananda was the first and most fully realized Yoga master to ever bring the ancient spiritual wisdom and practices of India to the United States, and one hundred years after his death he is regarded by millions to be the greatest Yogi of the modern era. No seeker of truth should be without these invaluable teachings, for they are great treasures of illumination and guidance for living a truly spiritual life in the modern world.".…
