WHEN SOMEBODY LOVES YOU BACK

With a promising NBA career on the horizon, Darius Jones, engaged to Fancy, who is now pregnant, finds his life in chaos when a potential health issue threatens to destroy everything and a shocking secret forces him to retrace his past with the help of his biological father and an ex-lover.

Hot sex and high drama move Morrison's latest page turner featuring NBA star Darius Jones, his fiancée Fancy Taylor, his mother Jada Diamond Taylor and her husband Wellington Jones (who raised Darius, though he's not his biological father). Darius plays more than just basketball: he's juggling the demands of his "baby mama," Ashlee, his tumultuous relationship with the fierce, sexy Fancy (also carrying his child), and the question of his HIV status. Meanwhile, Jada and Wellington face difficulties in their marriage at the same time he's diagnosed with prostate cancer. Jada is too preoccupied to realize that once again her life has become fodder for her friend Candice Jordan, the opportunistic writer who once chronicled Jada's affairs for a screenplay. This time, Candice plans to include Darius in her story. When it comes to her characters' sexual exploits-in bed, in the car and on the couch-Morrison leaves nothing to the imagination, and before Darius, Fancy, Jada and crew learn their lessons and do the right thing, Morrison packs in dozens of juicy episodes sure to titillate fans of Nothing Has Ever Felt Like This.

In Nothing Has Ever Felt Like This (2005), three women claimed to be carrying Darius Jones' child, and he mistreated each of them. In this sequel, he must face his selfish behavior toward women and his fear of falling in love. At 6 foot 11 and 200 pounds, Darius is headed to NBA camp. Ashlee, his childhood friend who turned out to be his half sister, is also the mother of his son, Darius Jones Jr. Fancy Taylor, the carefree real estate agent who challenged all of Darius' wayward ways, is now his fiance. Ciarra Monroe-Jones is the woman he married to gain control of her casting company only to throw her away when he no longer needed her. It isn't until Wellington, the man who raised him, is diagnosed with cancer that Darius begins to behave unselfishly. Darius' love for his mother and concern during Wellington's illness forces him to turn over a new leaf. All of the characters make choices that make them stronger and are life altering. Lillian Lewis
