The untold story of the occupation of the Islands of St. Pierre and Miguelon by Free French forces under General de Gaulle at the instigation of Winston Churchill, in defiance of the wishes of Canada and the USA. This was followed by the mysterious loss of the giant French Cruiser/Submarine Surcouf. Blue cardwraps. B/w photos. 103 pages. SIGNED by the author with dedication to verso of front endpaper.
