SIR WILFRED T. GRENFELL (1865-1940). Grenfell was a doctor who went to Labrador and Newfoundland with hospital supplies in 1892. He remained there for over 40 years, creating hospitals, schools and orphanages. He eventually became known as Grenfell of Labrador. ASkS. 1pg. 6 x 9. No date. No place. A sketch signed SS Strathcona Labrador Wilfrid Grinfell. Grinfell created the mountain sketch. There is a slight toning box in the center of the paper and there are three punch holes in the left margin.
