A Good, maroon binding with gilt lettering on front board and spine, some age spotting/discoloration to boards, some crimping to spine edges, bit of rubbing to board and spine edges, some age toning to pages, scattered foxing to text block edges, bit of age spotting to front/back matters, bookplate residue top front pastedown and small sticker residue top rear pastedown else unmarked, without Dust wrapper. Overall, a good and clean copy. 4to[quarto or approx. 9.5 x 12 inches], 424pp., appendix, notes, indexed, credits, sepia and color illustrations.
