KIM TAYLOR REECE admires women. The joy and energy they bring to his work is something he has been cultivating for many years. Trained in the traditional disciplines of fine art, Reece became awed by the contemporary art of photography while trying to capture the subtleties of hula. He found the images capture in photograph could not be duplicated, with the same intensity, through any other medium.
This book brings together Reece's ventures in black and white and his talent in making visions become reality. His admiration for women has taken form in this collection of images. Wahine, is a celebration for and about women. A beautiful statement to women.
