Limited Edition, hand-numbered in pen, 061/500. Each limited edition includes one of four numbered prints SIGNED by the photographer. This copy includes a signed black and white print of Fab 5 Freddy walking out of a White Castle burger joint. Featuring 55 black and white and 37 color images of New York's nascent hip hop scene. Bramly was in the city and on the scene in the early 80s to document the first DJs, MCs, graffiti artists and break dancers as they created the culture which came to be known as hip hop. Featuring stars such as Afrika Bambaataa, Kool Herc, Russell Simmons, The Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Keith Haring, Futura 2000, Herbie Hancock, The Furious Five, and more. Introduction by Fab 5 Freddy. Fine in gold wrappers and a fine printed acetate dust jacket.
