About the Author

Gareth Glover has studied the Napoleonic Wars for more than 30 years and has gained a reputation as the foremost authority on British archive material specializing in the Battle of Waterloo and the Peninsular War. He has brought more than 20 previously unpublished Napoleonic memoirs into the public domain. Andrew Roberts has written or edited 12 books, and appears regularly on radio and television around the world.
