Description: This copy is Signed by Lois and Clif Rather. Includes a few black and white illustrations. This is number 113 of 151 copies. Clif Rather says of Kipling in his colophon, 'Printer's Progress': ''He was just a young fellow eager to get ahead and impress the folks back home by his wit and sophistication. Maybe we shouldn't be too hard on him. He was in San Francisco for only a short time but made quite an impression (not altogether favorable) which was remembered for a long time.'' BINDNG/CONDITION: green pictorial boards with darker green cloth at the spine; the top edge is bumped, otherwise Very Good condition; no dust jacket. references, index.
