My book is about living my life with cerebral palsy which I have had from birth to over 60 years. How I have overcome many difficulties in spite of my severe physically disability and how with the help of my Christian faith I have obtained two university degrees, lived an independent life, and travelled extensively both locally and abroad. I worked in the open market as a computer programme. How moved to Cape Town (thousands kilometres away from my family’s home). I lived there with my carer and her two children in a flat/apartment.I chose to live there because I wanted to prove to myself and to my family that I could live independently of them and run my own home. I first rented a flat and later bought my own flat. I worked every day, every other day at the office and the other days on my computer at home. I worked long hours but I enjoyed the work and being with my colleagues who treated me as their equals. I have also enjoyed several trips abroad to see different parts of the world. I hope my story will encourage my readers to strive to reach seemingly impossible heights.
