Octavo. 5.75 x 8.5 in. 209 pp. Good in original cloth-backed, paper-covered boards with soiling and foxing to front and mild soiling to rear panel. Mild foxing to text block and endpapers, as well as rubbing to edges. And a good pictorial dust jacket with edgewear, including some waviness due to dampstaining to head and foot with some color transfer to interior dust jacket. Presumed secretarial signature to front free endpaper. King's own signature has some differences and he more often than not inscribed his books, suggesting a secretary, perhaps even Maude Ballou, signed this copy in his stead. Seller Inventory # 8718
