No jacket as issued. Letter O of 26 signed, lettered, limited edition copies. Signed by Fritz Leiber, artist Stephen E. Fabian, and editor/publisher Stuart Schiff at the limitation page. The limitation page appears to be from an edition of Leiber's 'Swords and Deviltry,' with the title crossed out and 'Whispers' written above it in Schiff's handwriting. This copy is additionally inscribed by both Schiff and Leiber to a previous owner, both signatures dated 1982 (May and June, respectively). Navy cloth with gilt titling, very good with light toning to spine. Clumsy glue repair to the binding between FFEP and table of contents, very slightly obscuring some text near the gutter margin. Text bright and unmarked.
