About the Author

John Ullmen, Ph.D., is on faculty at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, oversees MotivationRules.com and is an internationally acclaimed executive coach. His award-winning book Real Influence: Persuade without Pushing and Gain without Giving In, co-authored with Dr. Mark Goulston, is in print in several languages. His education includes degrees from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Harvard University, and UCLA.

Glenn Rupert, M.S., provides coaching for senior-level executives in a number of different industries, including nonprofits and academia as well as Fortune 500 companies. He has ten years of experience in corporate human resources positions, and he serves as adjunct faculty at Duke University. He holds psychology degrees from Radford University and Lenoir-Rhyne College.
