8vo size, 21 x 15 cms,xxxi,552pp laid paper, hand cut top and fore edges, quarter vellum with paper covered boards with title gilt on spine, engraved frontis by Cecil Arthur Hunt after an original landscape of "The steep hill to Kingshead aloft on the shoulder of Hameldon" by Cecil Hunt, covers have a few small marks and one touch up but remain very clean, contents are very clean, binding very firm, overall a very good, near fine copyNote: "The Widecombe Edition of the Dartmoor Novels consists of fifteen hundred copies .1927." signed by Eden Phillpott. This is Volume One in the series.
