Flat signed by Sendak on half title page, no personal inscription. Inside flap is clipped at top; bottom of flap reads Net $2.59; book is clean and tight, in very good condition; DJ is G with very slight shelfwear. Pictorial boards. Book is VG minus with minor shelfwear; o/w clean and tight; DJ is good with minor edgewear; very rare signed copy, There is a gold sticker on the spine of the DJ which is slightly chipped; illustrated by Maurice Sendak thirteen years before he hit it big with Where the Wild Things Are. At the bottom of the back flap is: 60-100. Note: I just acquired eleven signed Sendak and am seeking a collector who is interested. They are: Where the Wild Things Are, Hurry Home Candy, Hector Protector And As I Went Over The Water, Very Far Away, A Very Special House, The Wonderful Farm, Shadrach, In The Night Kitchen, Seven Tales, and Nutcracker. All are signed and illustrated by Sendak. BEVFR.
