61 volumes of 71 volume set. Limited edition #502/1000. Signed by editor. Copyright 1900-1902. Hardcover, brown cloth, paper labels on spine. Overall condition is Very Good. None are less than that. Frontis in every volume with tissue cover. Many volumes with multiple plates, others with only the frontis. These were made with high quality laid paper so no foxing. Many pages uncut. Top edges gilt; fore-edges ragged. No writing, smudges, tears or other interior issues. I have made a more detailed quality report for those who are interested. The missing volumes are 5, 9, 15, 21, 42, 45, 48, 53, 56, 60. Ten volumes is about one box - so sometime in the last 120 years a box went astray during a move. This is a huge set. 102 inches in shelf space weighing in at 135 pounds. An incredible high quality set for those with shelf space. Please see images of the books you will receive. Feel free to inquire.

Terms of sale
We guarantee the condition of every book as it is described on the AbeBooks website. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged) or if the order has not arrived, you are eligible for a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. If you have changed your mind about a book that you ordered, please use the Ask Bookseller a Question link to contact us and we will respond within 2 business days.
Shipping terms
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Default shipping is via media mail. If you would like priority please contact me and we can arrange it.
A note about shipping outside the US:
Shipping costs from the United States to anywhere outside the U.S. have gone up astronomically. While USPS First Class International is the least expensive, no tracking is provided. Since the beginning of 2020 this class of shipping has become unreliable. Priority Mail International is now the best option and much more expensive. Small lightweight books can be shipped for less than the price indicated so feel free to contact me and I will reduce fee to actual cost.
