Second edition, revised and enlarged. Octavo. 303pp. Very good or better with modest bumping at the corners and spine ends, and a contemporary price label on the lower wrap. Nicely Inscribed by Robb to Joaquina and don Tomás Navarro on the half-title. Tomás Navarro was a noted Spanish philologist, librarian, and linguist. He is thanked in the preface to the second edition and two of his titles are listed in the bibliography; Robb has marginally bracketed that text. Robb's engraved calling cardhe was professor of Romance languages at The George Washington Universityis laid in.
