A 13 line hand written note addressed to William Targ signed by Samuel Beckett. William Targ was an important author, editor, publisher and book seller. He had a pretty close relationship with Beckett. Targ would meet with Beckett often in Paris. He would inscribe and sign books for Targ. Mr Targ writes about this in his book Indecent Pleasures. The Life and colorful Times of William Targ . Macmillan. 1975. Small note card, self addressed envelope. No return address and a tiny 2 line hand written note on scrap paper initialed by Beckett. I will include a copy of Mr. Targ s book. A first edition. See photos.
