Plate unfolded.Plate 1 re-engraved and plate 2 reworked in comparison with the plates in the author's "Kopporna kunna utrotas" [Smallpox can be eradicated] from 1802. Sven Hedin was personal physician to the King and also worked as a spa physician at Medevi in �sterg�tland. He became a member of the Swedish Medical Board in 1813. Hedin's very active information campaigns about the Jenner method of vaccination led to a mandatory inoculation program being put in place in Sweden in 1815. Seller Inventory # 41920B
