Part I is a general study of geology, weathering, soil formation and soil types of the region. Part II contains detailed investigation of the soil types and their uses in the various islands and regions. There are 257 figures (mostly photos, 2 foldout), 139 tables ( 1 foldout). The end papers are maps of the region. The book is covered in black cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. Condition. VG+ Ex library. The pages are clean and the binding is tight. Slight rubbing at ends of hinges. White library class mark on spine, and stamps verso title pae.
