32 pages including Title page. Condition; Original colour hardback binding good, some minor ageing, edge wear. Contents mostly very good, clean & tight. Page 3 base minor finger mark, page 22/23 minor mark where were stuck in centre (easy to miss, see scan). Undated, but listed as 1883 by BL. Size approx 15.5 x 18cm Originally was written in 1879, whilst many of her friends were fighting in South Africa, as her husband was in the British army and was in the July 1879 magazine Aunt Judy, but this 1883 tome was the first published book of this title with depictions by R. Andre. Ewing was born in Ecclesfield, Yorkshire 1841, to 1885. One of her rarer titles. Seller Inventory # 003740
