Del squared

20th anniversary edition of the cult novel which was the first cyberpunk book written in Russia. This book describes the misadventures of a sentient yet somewhat insensitive cyborg, two talking dogs, and one talking spaceship, in their quest for revenge, food, and finding out when and where they are (in no particular order). When Gorm the cyborg arrives at an inhabited planet, he decides to secure the support of its population to build himself a proper starship. Unfortunately for him, the planet is governed by totalitarian regimes and is recovering from a war involving a bizarre combination of nuclear and genetic warfare...

"Vorobieff created a postmodern text - cheerful and intelligent, where conflict with a totalitarian regime on planet Heim constitutes only a part of the story." - Sergei Nekrasov, Russian SF magazine
