these are MY thoughts they are none of your business

These are MY thoughts they are none of your business is a sharp, funny, and quietly thought-provoking collection of observations about modern life; the things we say, the things we don't say, and the things we probably should keep to ourselves.

Written with humour and self-awareness, Oliver Sims explores everyday topics such as marriage, parenting, sport, identity, ambition, ego, alcohol, information overload, and community spirit.

Some thoughts will make you laugh.

Some might make you slightly uncomfortable.

A few may reset the way you see things that are 'ordinary'.

This isn't a self-help manual.

It's not a memoir.

It's not trying to fix you.

It's one person thinking out loud. Honestly, occasionally bluntly, often playfully. About the world we're all navigating.

Designed to be read or listened to (yes, it's also a "podcast" if you prefer), the book moves easily between humour and depth, lightness and sincerity. It's the kind of book you can dip into at random, or sit with in one go.

You won't agree with everything.

That's part of the point.

If you enjoy intelligent humour, grounded honesty, and thoughts that linger just long enough to follow you home, this book may quietly earn its place on your shelf.
