By Thomas Clifford Allbutt and printed in London by Macmillan and Co. 1871, 405 pp, 8.75 x 6 , 8vo, cloth binding. In as-is condition, with tears to binding between boards and outer spine. Hinges are intact at the front and back of the book, but are worn in sections throughout. Small inscription on front pastedown. Pages 64-80 are loose but included. One color illustration is included within the text but is detached (please reference tenth photograph). Periodic foxing and general age-related toning to pages. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. An interesting and scarce book that provides an 1870s examination of various diseases and illnesses.
