"After receiving his doctorate, Steinberger attended the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton for a year. In 1949 he published a calculation of the lifetime of the neutral pion, which anticipated the study of anomalies in quantum field theory" [this paper]. / BIOGRAPHY: Steinberger worked at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, and won the 1988 Nobel Prize for Physics, along with Leon Lederman and Melvin Schwartz, "for the neutrino beam method and the demonstration of the doublet structure of the leptons through the discovery of the muon neutrino". "Jack Steinberger was a Physicist at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) (1968-1986). Other institutional affiliations include Columbia University, University of California, Berkeley, and the Institute for Advanced Studies." :: AIP.

Prices are net. Any local taxes are collected are required. Shipping extra. We ship SWISS POST all over the world. Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee (if received in original condition). Returns are only allowed within 30 days and only under certain conditions:

The seller is not required to accept a return for this reason and may choose to cancel the return request. The return is considered to be accepted unless cancelled by the seller within two business days. Items lost are refunded (30 days is the limit, though delays in shipments can be longer). Damaged items: Full or partial refunds are granted depending on the status of the item received. The buyer is refunded the item price, original shipping, plus return shipping equal to the original shipping. Refunds, or returns, are granted for items ?not as described?. There is a possibility of mutual disagreement, if the dealer disagrees then the buyer is responsible for return shipping.
