A good (for its age - 200 plus years) copy of this treatise on Christianity, Volume 2 only. No Dust Jacket (as issued?). Cover: full brown leather covered boards, with 6 decorative (gilt) bands and gilt title on red leather to spine; in good condition for its age however front board is completely detached but all present, all edges and faces rubbed and marked. Internally: clean and text block and rear cover tightly bound; small discreet book plate to front paste down; some foxing to front free end paper and title page; some darkening to page edges, top edges may once have been gilt; otherwise remarkably clean and bright for its age. 396 pp.
