A river crossing puzzle comprising coloured woodcut paper figures depicting a farmer, a boat, a wolf, a goat and a cabbage (complete). Housed in the original illustrated paper envelope (some staining). A printed instruction in Swedish is included. This kind of game dates back to the 9th century and has been found in the folklore of ethnic groups from different parts of the world. A charming puzzle, well-preserved.
