[and:] [3] COULIER, Paul-Jean. Manuel Pratique de Microscopie Appliquee a la Medecine. Paris: Desobry, E. Magdeleine, 1859. The first work, by Martini, relates to the work of Johann Gottfried Bremser (1767-1827), the Vienna parasitologist and hygienist. His classic, "Uber lebende Wurmer im lebenden" Munich, 1819, introduces his studies on intestinal worms in man.
