Sharon Gillies
After graduating from Simon Fraser University with a PhD in Plant Physiology, Sharon Gillies completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Agriculture Canada. Since 1995, she has been teaching undergraduate Biology courses at the University of the Fraser Valley. Her interests include promoting science to youth and acting as a volunteer coordinator for Summer Science Camp and Hands-on Science at UFV. Her recent research activities include invasive plants and Fraser River Water quality.
Sarah Hewitt
After completing a BSc. in Exercise and Heath Physiology, Sarah Hewitt got her PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary with a focus on the neural mechanisms of stress. Since August 2008, she has been a faculty member at Mount Royal University.
