From Library Journal

This very competent first novel offers an inside look at the business of publishing. The author, a former editor, avoids glamorizing the book industry to present a credible story of Angie Wyatt, grown-up daughter of a wealthy British publisher, searching for her own daughter whom she has never seen. The protagonist deals with recent widowhood, precarious family relationships, and a romance involving a banker of uncertain character who is running for Parliament. English charm and trendy settings help the capable plot as it moves to a plausible denouement. Recommended for public libraries. Will Hepfer, SUNY at Buffalo Libs.
