Between 1965 and 1992, Satyajit Ray wrote a total of 35 Feulda stories, featuring the detective Pradosh C. Mitter. The plots involve murder, intrigue and adventure, narrated in a racy, humorous style. All the stories are now available in a two volume omnibus. This second volume shows Feluda at the peak of his sleuthing career. He is at his inimitable best as he tracks down the last known letter of Napoleon, or investigates a sinister crime that has to do with Tintoretto's painting of Jesus.
