Synopsis
Sandra Shevey interviewed John Lennon for 12 hours in New York City in 1972. The retrospective interview was a summing up by John of his life to date. Discussed are issues of stardom, first marriages, women, composing, the `business`, feminism, sex, children, etc.
5 hours of the interview are on audio and were used in preparation of features in the UK and the USA.
More of the interview is in the biography which cross-references John`s own comments and reflections with those of his friends, business associates, lovers and family.
