About the Author

In writing self-help books for Christians in recovery, Claire W. draws on her training as a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and her professional experience as a counselor. She also brings to her writing her personal experience of healing in Twelve Step groups for compulsive behavior and codependency. In writing about the creative process, Claire uses her artistic experience, not only in her present career as an author, but in her former career as a dancer and choreographer. Claire has an MFA in ballet and has created dances for both ballet and modern dance companies. In deference to the traditions of the Twelve Step programs, she maintains her anonymity by using only her first name.
