About the Author

Sue Avery is an experienced VCE maths teacher, and an experienced writer of the Essential series at the VCE level. She has conducted student seminars on VCE preparation in Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics and has also been involved in maths research work for the VCAA.

Dr Michael Evans has gained a wealth of experience whilst Head of Mathematics at Scotch College. He is heavily involved in curriculum development both at a Victorian and national level.
