About the Author:

Jessica Kerr lectures to garden clubs on the flower imagery in Shakespeare’s plays, and is particularly interested in every aspect of English life in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. She was born in Dublin, was educated at Roedean School in England, and studied at the Royal College of Music in London for five years on an open scholarship for violin, graduating with the degree of A.R.C.M. Mrs. Kerr now lives in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
