Synopsis
The Europeans arrived with invincible weapons: guns, horses, and diseases. Their first sight of Montezuma's Aztec capital took their breath away, but they never vacillated in their holy mission of conquest, enslavement, and exploitation. Yet, even at the first, there was the moment when a Spaniard looked at an Indian woman with desire, and an Indian woman at a Spaniard. That moment is captured in this novel about Nen, who could see the future.
