This completely updated, new edition of "Strategies for Inclusion" sports two brand new chapters and a in-bound CD-ROM containing lots of practical, ready-to-use forms, checklists, assessments and more. The first of the new chapters focuses on Positive Behaviorial Support and provides proven methods for managing student behaviour - one of the biggest challenges facing teachers today. The second new chapter on Support Personnel gives great tips for getting everyone involved; learning from the same page. The plan for this new edition has been to build on the rock solid foundations of the first edition by integrating even more practical applications to help both experienced teachers and teachers-to-be implement the book's remarkable content, fast. Now teacher's can get up-to-date on the latest and most useful strategies for successfully integrating children with disabilities in physical education. "Strategies for Inclusion: A Handbook for Physical Educators 2nd Edition" dispels the myths about instructing children with disabilities and provides guidelines for appropriate inclusion in the least restrictive environment.
