It's been a year since Septimus Heap discovered his real family and true calling to be a wizard. As Apprentice to ExtraOrdinary Wizard Marcia Overstrand, he is learning the fine arts of Conjurations, Charms, and other Magyk, while Jenna is adapting to life as the Princess and enjoying the freedom of the Castle.
But there is something sinister at work. Marcia is constantly trailed by a menacing Darke Shadow, and Septimus's brother Simon seems bent on a revenge no one understands. Why is the Darke Magyk still lingering?
Bringing fantasy to new heights, Angie Sage continues the journey of Septimus Heap with her trademark humor and all of the clever details readers have come to love.

Book Description Hardcover. Condition: New. Dust Jacket Condition: New. Mark Zug (illustrator). 1st Edition. Brand new and unread first UK edition hardback book with an unclipped dustwrapper published in 2006 by Bloomsbury in fine condition. The book is signed on the title page by Angie Sage who has also kindly added two lines ('A Darke Horse. And a Darke rider, his voice echoed thinly') from page 32 of the book which is when The Ancient is telling Septimus and Jenna what he saw. The Darke rider being Simon!! In our opinion this is a most unusual couple of lines for Angie to do and we believe that there will be very few copies of Flyte, if any other than this copy, which has these lines. The first edition status of the book is confirmed by the numeric sequence 1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2 on the copyright page. Signed by Author(s). Seller Inventory # 000005
