A pleasing copy of the Revised Edition in trade paperback SIGNED by the late Betty Fox, and inscribed by her to an organizer of the Terry Fox Run in 1992. The inscription in blue ink on the half-title page reads, "Dear --, Thank you so much for your dedication & enthusiasm towards the Terry Fox Run & helping us keep Terry's dream alive to find a cure for cancer. Best wishes --." Betty Fox (1937-2011) was Terry's mother and the founder of the Terry Fox Foundation. Terry ran the Marathon of Hope to raise funds for Cancer research from April to September of 1980, and he died in 1981, the year the first edition of this book was published. This revised edition is a trade paperback. The covers are bright and unaffected by the sun. A reading crease runs the length of the front cover, next to the spine. The spine is unmarked. The bottom corner of the front and back covers have softened. The page edges are tanned. Shallow indentations in the surface of the front cover are visible when held to the light, and there is mild wear to the surface of the top edge of the front cover.
