Synopsis
The Vega is a lush and peaceful ranching plain in the shadow of Stonebreaker's Ridge and the Santa Clara Mountains. It is here that former bounty hunter Jim Ryan returned to run the ranch he inherited on his father's death. Looking to expand his holdings, he offers to buy the S-Bar Ranch. The owner, Tom Strickland, who was injured in a riding accident, becomes angry and orders him off the place. So when Tom is ambushed and killed, suspicion falls on Jim. It's not until he's become a hunted fugitive that Jim realizes he's a pawn in a plan for an impending range war ...
