It's hard to keep up with changes in the language of computer science. More than 200 new entries have been added to this dictionary designed for use in schools, primarily by computer-science students. The first edition was published in 2001. Also new are more than 500 pronunciations, probably not essential for terms like hardware ("^Bhard-wair") but useful for the uninitiated in the case of terms like SCSI ("^Bskuz-ee"). Mary Ellen Quinn
